The Fender Custom Shop has artfully reproduced the classic 1962 Precision Bass split-coil pickup, presented here with flush-mount alnico 5 magnets, enamel-coated magnet wire and cloth-covered output wires to deliver the full, booming lows, punch midrange and clear high end of the bass that started it all. Mounting hardware 

Lower in output and a flatter responce than the Fender 63' Precison pickup, the 62" Precison pickup is a true Vintage style P pickup with a moderate output. Balanced beautifully across the audio spectrum with sweet mellow mids, warm low end and controlled highs.
