This model is based on the 500/1 from 1963, with two "staple" pickups, "2-on-a-strip" machine heads, a fully-fledged resonance body and a slim, two-piece shortscale neck without bezels. There is of course the famous control panel, the mother-of-pearl-colored pickguard and with a flamed maple back and sides and a spruce top it is authentic in every way. The robust high-gloss poly finish ensures that this bass will be a long-term companion - whether in the rehearsal room or live on stage! Equipped with flatwound strings, the tone has everything you would expect from a traditional 500/1 bass. That's the great sound from the 1960s! Delivery in Höfner quality case.
