Styled in a flat black finish, theĀ Ibanez Fieldy K5Ā is Fieldy's signature series 5-string electric bass. Fieldy needs little introduction, the bass player from Korn who's unique playing and influential style of incredibly aggressive slaps and pops in a nu-metal context has carved the way for "up front" bass playing.

The Ibanez K5 sports a nyatoh body and a 34" scale, bolt-on maple/walnut neck with a jatoba fingerboard and 24 medium frets. The profile is super slim and allows for fast runs with absolute ease

For electronics, the instrument utilizes two Ibanez ADX5 active pickups, a Vari-Mid 3-band EQ delivers wide tonal adjustments with a concentrically stacked midrangeĀ control allowing for mid frequency selection and boost/cut of that frequency.Ā The bass and treble boost/cut controls are also concentrically stacked so as to give you a compact intuitive preamp stage.Ā 

Ibanez only produce these basses in very limited runs and the wait times are lengthy.Ā
