The flat wound Olintos use the same string construction as the classic flats from the 60's, these are as close as you can get to the original strings used by the most iconic bass players like James Jamersonā, Bob Babbit,ā āandā Donald āDuckā Dunn.

- Standard Tension
- String Gauges: .047, .068, .080, .107
- Hex core for better intonation and to prevent string buzz
- Standard Long Scale Set: All strings are 37ā³ from ball-end to silk/taper. Only the silk portion of the string should wrap around the tuning post (or else the string will break).
- These strings are NOT suitable for basses where the strings pass through the body of the bass (they will break).
