LaBella Super Polished Bass 4 Strings

The La Bella Super Polished bass strings have the punch of stainless steel but the smooth, buttery feel of flats. We begin the process by taking our round-wound stainless steel strings (designed with our flexible Olinto hex cores & gauges) and placing them on our factory-designed polishers, smoothing down the ridges commonly associated with round-wound strings.

This polishing process far exceeds the feel of conventional and abrasive feeling “half rounds” or “ground wound” strings.

The result is a unique tone that simmers between flats and rounds! The feel…buttery smooth!

• String Gauges: .047, .068, .080, .107
• Hex core for better intonation and to prevent string buzz
• Standard Long Scale Set: All strings are 37″ from ball-end to silk/taper. Only the silk portion of the string should wrap around the tuning post (or else the string will break).
• These strings can be both top loaded and strung through the body of the bass. If stringing through the body, make sure the 37” wound length is long enough for through body stringing.
• Do not tug or pull on strings to break them in as they might break.
